Aqua Flow

In tech we had to create a character out of Plasticine. I was in a group with Max,unfortunately hes on tour so you cant see his side of the project. We chose water power because we are in a drought so we thought it would be relating to our everyday life. I would change how much we merged our parts to our body and make him stand a bit better,also put longer wire to connect the parts to move easier. The highlight is definitely creating our character. I was quite frustrated with how little time we got though, but no doubt it was a very enjoyable project.

 

Mindful messaging

 We had to create a poster for the grade 4's about mindful messaging because messages has been banned because they do not know how to tell if the person is sad or happy.We had to watch a video ,discussed what facial expression and tone is and means.We used a new feature on google called google drawings.We had to include the Common Sense logo,the words tone and facial expression and their meanings,an example of how messaging can go wrong and pictures.

Poetry ILT

My ILT was very exiting we had our first grade six ILT on poetry. We had to draw a picture on a poem I chose the poem Tyger. ILT stands for Integrated Learning Task. I was put in a group with Andrew and Ashliegh. I enjoyed my group we all had great ideas to contribute to the team. We had lots of tasks to accomplish individually and as a group. Which include the following.

TASK 1: Terminology: we had to search words and write down there meaning then make a video explaining them.

TASK 2: Poetry writing: I had to write a individual poem and my theme was poems. Picture will be included down below. 

TASK 3: Black out poetry: Our group had to take a wonder page and use a permanent marker to draw around  our chosen words.

TASK 4: Poetry slam: Our group performed a act of poetry when we did a poetry slam in the hall.

TASK 5: Analysing  poems: we had to answer questions on a chosen poem we chose Topsy turvy world.

TASK 6 : Imagery: I drew a picture on my chosen poem Tyger.

Camp

 I am very exited about camp I just hope that I don't get hurt. I cant wait for camp.

My 2017 Hopes

My 2017 hopes 

My 2017 year has bean very exiting so far I hope that I get taller so I can finally  reach the top shelf in the kitchen. I want to get better at goalkeeper so that I can win a whole game without letting in one goal. I want to be able to kick a soccer ball half way across the soccer field. I would love to save up R1,000 so I can buy something I've wanted for a long time. I want to spend more time with my dog Dexter and cat Bo.
